Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a proactive Scheduling/Logistics Coordinator to manage daily work plans for multiple crews across a broad area. You will assign tasks, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met.

The role requires five years of scheduling experience in operations, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with frontline leaders and stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for advanced positions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations.
• Scheduling/planning experience within operations.
• Ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews based on resources.
• Review incoming designed work outside scheduling window and manage exceptions.
• Coordinate equipment and materials to enable work execution.
• Ensure proper work acceptance and site readiness.
• Communicate schedule updates to frontline leaders and stakeholders.
• Identify project changes and inform relevant personnel.
• Triage work rejections and adapt schedules to meet start dates.
• Build partnerships with supervisors and customers to maximize efficiency.
