Job summary

Milwaukee Tool, Brookfield, Wisconsin, seeks a Senior Operations Project Engineer to support the Hand Tools, Storage, PPE unit. You will drive NPD launches, manufacturing support, risk mitigation, and strategic transfers, while collaborating with manufacturing cells to cut costs and improve processes.

You will lead project schedules, resource plans, and risk reviews, coordinating with Quality, Purchasing, Finance and Marketing to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or operations.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally a few times per year.

Responsibilities

• Leads medium scale strategic operations projects for NPD or legacy products.
• Provides project leader support on mid-level complexity projects.
• Create project schedules, resource plans (RASICs), and run meetings.
• Track project Schedule and inform management of issues.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with risk reduction plans.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, and more.
• Lead operational readiness and implementation.
• Develop plans and drive execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.
• Support end-to-end logistics modeling and supply chain design analyses.
