Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks an Operations Project Engineer to lead manufacturing projects at the Mukwonago plant, coordinating with NPD, project managers, designers and technicians to meet scope, budget and schedule while upholding quality and safety.

You will analyze processes, drive DFMEA changes, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and monitor budgets to deliver high‑performing, cost‑effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading projects in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, quality systems, and safety regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead multiple medium-scale projects for NPD, process improvement, and manufacturing support.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation to meet milestones.
• Provide guidance to designers, technicians, and contractors to complete tasks.
