Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Operations Project Engineer to support the Hand Tools/Storage/PPE business unit. You will lead mid‑level strategic projects, develop schedules and resource plans, and drive risk mitigation and cost reduction with cross‑functional teams across global operations.

Based in Mukwonago, WI, the role focuses on NPD launches, manufacturing support, and transfer execution, with travel to suppliers and the Milwaukee corporate site as needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain, or operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Know-how of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
• Experience leading cross-functional, in-house projects.
• PMP certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-scale strategic operations projects for NPD or legacy products.
• Create project schedules, resource plans (RASICs), and run meetings.
• Track schedules and manage risks; escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and more.
• Ensure operational readiness and implementation across units.
• Analyze supply chain design and logistics for cost optimization.
