Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking an Operations Project Engineer to oversee planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects. You will work with NPD project leaders, managers, designers, and technicians to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role involves improving processes on the shop floor, evaluating design relative to cost and manufacturability, and collaborating with suppliers and corporate teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or related work experience.
• 1+ years experience in a project leadership role.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge and operations principles.
• Experience with ERP and WMS preferred (Microsoft Dynamics AX, High Jump).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Lead multiple medium-scale operations projects for NPD, process improvement, and manufacturing support.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and ensure milestones are met.
• Sit at the Mukwonago manufacturing plant and visit the Milwaukee corporate office as needed.
• Provide guidance to designers, technicians, and contractors to complete tasks.
