Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking a Manager, Operations to lead end-to-end service center execution across dock operations, linehaul, pickup and delivery, and office functions, ensuring profitability targets, service standards, and network performance are met.

You will build and develop high-performing teams, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate staff, enforce safety and regulatory compliance, and drive cross-functional alignment with senior leadership through data-driven performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–5 years of operations management experience.
• Proven experience leading multi-functional teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Strong financial and operational acumen; experience managing labor, revenue components, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service center execution across dock operations, linehaul, pickup and delivery, and administrative functions.
• Drive performance metrics, cost control, and alignment with profitability targets and service standards.
• Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams through hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management with HazMat, safety certifications, and confidentiality.
• Strengthen cross-functional coordination with corporate teams, service centers, sales, and partners; resolve escalated issues with speed and clarity.
