Job summary

Amazon in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee budget, people development, and operational objectives at the Fulfillment Center. This role leads a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaches performance, and builds leadership strength while driving results across the facility.

Responsibilities include Lean initiatives, safety, quality, and customer experience, with collaboration across HR, Finance, Facilities, and IT to secure resources for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
• Work flexible hours including overnight, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Leads quality initiatives and Lean projects to improve efficiency across the FC
• Oversees performance and safety for Inbound or Outbound operations
• Sets clear requirements for Operations and Area Managers and measures performance
• Leverages teams to generate improvement plans and share best practices
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other leaders to secure resources and support
• Drives leadership development and employee relations to strengthen the site
