Qualifications
- 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong focus on safety and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leads quality improvement and Lean initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
- Oversees inbound or outbound operations, ensuring safety, quality and customer experience.
- Sets expectations for Operations Managers, measures performance and provides feedback.
- Leverages managers to source ideas and develop improvement plans.
- Promotes cross-department best practice sharing across shifts and sites.
- Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and peers to secure support for projects.
