Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Prior experience with full staffing lifecycle (interviewing, hiring, performance management).

Responsibilities

• Drives quality initiatives, process changes and Lean initiatives to enable their area to meet business plans.
• Responsible for safety, quality, performance and customer experience in Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and holds managers accountable.
• Leverages managers by sourcing ideas and creating improvement plans for the area.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts, and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Ops Managers to secure resources for projects.
