Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in the United States (TX, Waco) to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff. You will drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance, applying data-driven decisions to improve productivity and efficiency while meeting delivery promises.

The role covers First Mile to Last Mile operations and cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR, and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
