Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager in the San Diego area to lead site operations, drive budgetary and people development goals, and build leadership bench strength across the Fulfillment Center.

The role includes coaching a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring safety, quality and customer experience, and aligning with HR, Finance and IT for projects. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with MBA preferred, and experience managing a contingent workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Preferred MBA or advanced degree in related fields.
• Experience leading operations and managing multiple sites.
• Ability to manage budgetary and people development objectives.

Responsibilities

• Drives quality and Lean initiatives to meet business plan.
• Oversees safety, quality, performance and customer experience for inbound/outbound.
• Sets expectations for Operations and Area Managers and measures performance.
• Leverages teams to develop improvement plans and share best practices.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other leaders.
