Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own enterprise knowledge graph design, governance, and delivery. You will drive semantic modeling strategy, ontology governance, and technical direction across business, data engineering, and AI/ML teams.

You will lead ontology lifecycle, define architecture standards, align domain ontologies with enterprise assets, and guide tooling and triplestore choices while mentoring a growing team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands‑on ontology engineering or semantic modeling experience.
• Experience owning production‑grade ontologies in enterprise or large consultancy.
• Leadership of technical standards, team development, and roadmap ownership.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Information Science, CS, Library Science, Linguistics or related.

Responsibilities

• Own ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment and stewardship.
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and governance standards.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise assets.
• Mentor ontologists and semantic analysts, manage delivery timelines.
