Accenture seeks a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise knowledge graph initiatives. You will guide semantic modeling strategy and governance frameworks while leading cross-functional teams across business, data engineering, and AI/ML disciplines.

You will champion ontology lifecycle, tooling choices, and alignment with enterprise data governance, ensuring production-quality ontologies and scalable knowledge graphs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on ontology engineering or knowledge modeling
• Experience delivering production-grade ontologies in enterprise settings
• Experience owning technical standards, team development, and roadmaps
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and versioning policy
• Lead mapping of relational data into semantic frameworks
• Oversee knowledge graph hydration, integration testing, and validation
• Lead governance, reviews, and sign‑offs with stakeholders
• Mentor ontologists and semantic analysts; manage delivery timelines
