Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own ontology design, governance, and delivery for enterprise knowledge graphs. You will guide semantic modeling strategy, governance frameworks, and the technical direction of cross‑functional teams spanning business, data engineering, and AI/ML.

Responsibilities include end‑to‑end ontology lifecycle, alignment with upper ontologies, and setting standards for data governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years hands‑on experience in ontology engineering or knowledge modeling

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end ontology lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and stewardship
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and URI strategy
• Govern A‑Box hydration patterns across data sources
• Lead alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise assets
• Evaluate ontology tooling and triplestore platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineering, and AI/ML teams
• Mentor ontologists and drive delivery timelines across workstreams
• Travel up to 20–80% as needed (hybrid in nature)
