Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Ontologist and Knowledge Architecture Lead to own the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise knowledge graph initiatives. You will direct semantic modeling, ontology governance, and the technical direction of cross-functional teams across business, data engineering, and AI/ML disciplines.

Responsibilities include defining ontology architecture, governance standards, and leading stakeholder workshops to elicit concepts and competency questions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on experience in ontology engineering or semantic modeling.
• Experience delivering production-grade ontologies in enterprise settings.
• Experience leading teams and roadmap ownership in Agile environments.
• Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Library Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment and stewardship.
• Define enterprise ontology architecture and governance standards.
• Lead alignment between domain ontologies and enterprise semantic assets.
• Guide data governance and ensure compliance with quality gates.
