Job summary

Rose Associates is seeking a skilled Community Manager in New York City to oversee leasing, resident satisfaction, and financial performance for a multifamily portfolio. You will lead regulatory compliance, coordinate marketing and operations, and guide a team of Resident Managers and leasing staff on-site.

Ideal candidates possess 5+ years in multifamily management, strong financial and GAAP skills, and familiarity with Yardi and RentCafe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate or finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of multifamily residential community management experience.
• Proficiency with community management software (Yardi, RentCafe, On-Site).
• Strong financial skills and GAAP knowledge; valid NY real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Weekend availability as needed; on-site presence required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing activity, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Lead sales, marketing, and operational initiatives to meet occupancy goals.
• Coordinate budgets, reports, and vendor contracts.
• Supervise Resident Managers and leasing staff.
• Ensure policy compliance and timely communication with residents.
• Build strong relationships with residents, staff, and vendors.
