Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a Multifamily-Superintendent in Charlotte to deliver multifamily projects on time and with impeccable quality while upholding safety and documentation standards.

You will lead on-site activities, coordinate trades, manage inspections, and ensure budget adherence, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining strong relationships with owners, inspectors, and city officials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in large multifamily and commercial construction.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license; willing to drive among communities.
• Proficient with DRH Construction apps and standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site and arrange temporary facilities for construction.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with critical trades.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day project activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget.
• Monitor safety and enforce company standards on site.
• Conduct on-site subcontractor meetings and manage inspections.
• Submit RFIs and document subcontractor charges; maintain daily field logs.
• Approve subcontractor invoices with project manager.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors, homeowners, and officials.
