Job summary

Tekgence Inc. is seeking an experienced L3 Onsite Desktop Support Technician in Harrisburg, PA. This role provides high-level end-user support across multiple sites, resolving complex hardware, OS, and application issues while ensuring a reliable user experience in a regulated environment.

You will handle root cause analysis, maintain runbooks and knowledge bases, and collaborate with IT teams to implement lasting fixes. Onsite work is required five days a week in a structured corporate setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of desktop / end-user support experience (L3 preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows 10/11 environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and device management.
• Proficient with Office 365 and collaboration tools.
• Hands-on hardware and peripheral troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience supporting field or multi-site environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral issues escalated from L1/L2 teams.
• Provide onsite troubleshooting across offices and field locations (hardware, OS, connectivity).
• Support enterprise applications and coordinate with internal teams for issue resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base updates.
• Ensure compliance with security, access, and change management policies.
