Job summary

Waveguide in McLean, VA is seeking a Lead AV Technician for a Monday–Friday, on-site role supporting corporate AV operations. The position focuses on delivering high-quality AV support in a professional environment and coordinating meetings with attention to service quality.

You will oversee AV/VTC equipment, perform maintenance, generate usage reports, and assist end users with presentation technologies while maintaining asset management and escalation processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CTS certification by InfoComm is preferred.
• 3–5 years audiovisual technology management experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing, maintenance, asset management, and setup/teardown of AV and VTC equipment.
• Provide monthly room usage data, open action items, and maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot AV and videoconferencing systems and train end users.
• Coordinate with internal/external staff to ensure meeting success.
• Maintain issue logs, tickets, and asset management processes.
