Waveguide is hiring a Lead AV Technician in Boston, MA to oversee audio-visual needs in a corporate conference center and lead a team. The role requires strong problem solving, scheduling, and vendor coordination to ensure flawless meetings and events.

As part of Waveguide, you will manage daily operations of conference rooms, handle PowerPoint display, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high customer satisfaction. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and CTS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum four years' work experience in an audio visual manager or supervisor role.
• CTS Certification a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of integrated AV systems and equipment listed in the ad.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot presentation needs under high-pressure circumstances and conferences.
• Make immediate decisions to provide the client with an immediate solution without downtime.
• Supervise, motivate and train staff; set up communication processes.
• Manage time within the broader IT department areas of responsibility.
• Work with state-of-the-art Audio Visual conferencing equipment and for large scale events.
• Oversee daily conference room operations and equipment checks.
• Upload and display PowerPoint presentations and slides.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for large-scale events.
• Schedule equipment and staff for weekly conferences and events.
• Track equipment inventory and SLA compliance.
• Create proposals for new AV equipment or staffing as needed.
• Develop monthly and quarterly metrics and reports and scorecards.
• Identify continuous improvement processes for seamless customer service.
