Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Account Director – Oncology Provider to expand the Specialty footprint within community oncology practices across the East Coast US. This remote role requires up to 50% travel and reports to the Director of Account Management.

You will drive growth through strategic selling, executive engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The role demands a strong background in healthcare sales, oncology market knowledge, and proven skills in contracting and GPO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience preferred.
• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management experience.
• Experience with oncology practice business.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull through.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share through consultative sales strategies.
• Deliver compelling presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with professionals.
• Develop territory business plans and communicate real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts within assigned geographic regions.
• Demonstrate professional development and stay abreast of industry changes.
• Mentor junior sales team members and lead training programs.
• Utilize Cardinal Health’s CRM to maintain records and track leads.
• Provide competitive intelligence to stakeholders.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry associations and tradeshows.
• Develop relationships with pharmaceutical company counterparts for mutual benefit.
