Cardinal Health is seeking an Account Director – Oncology Provider to expand the specialty footprint across the East Coast and national markets. This remote, senior-level role involves pursuing new product lines, technology services, and retention initiatives within community oncology practices.

Travel up to 50% is required, reporting to the Director of Account Management. The position emphasizes building executive relationships, leading strategic territory plans, and partnering with Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management experience.
• Experience with oncology practice business and contracting processes.
• Strong planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to design win-win strategies for Cardinal Health and clients.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share and profitability through consultative sales strategies.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with professionals across the field.
• Develop territory business plans and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts within defined geographic regions.
• Mentor junior sales team members and lead training when asked.
