Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Account Director – Oncology Provider to expand the Specialty footprint across community oncology practices. This remote role will travel up to 50% and report to the Director, Account Management.

You will drive growth, manage key accounts, and partner with Sales Executives and Inside Sales to maximize Cardinal Health’s network. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience with 8+ years in healthcare sales, strong negotiation and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management experience.
• Experience with oncology practice business.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull through.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share and profitability through consultative sales strategies and tactics.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with cross-functional professionals.
• Develop territory business plans; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior sales team members.
• Utilize CRM to maintain records, track leads and retention strategies.
