Job summary

US Oncology Inc. is seeking a Scheduler to join Texas Oncology in Houston, TX. This full‑time role supports scheduling of patient appointments and tests, answers calls, and coordinates with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

The position offers levels 1, 2, or Sr based on experience, with responsibilities expanding to include insurance coordination, pre-certifications, and front-office support. Growth within a leading community cancer care network is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and tests in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate staff; liaison between patient and medical team.
• Handle insurance authorizations and referrals; collect co-pays and other payments as needed.
• Maintain scheduling templates and coordinate with physicians’ offices and clinics.
