Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, installing and servicing commercial food equipment. The role requires mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and HVACR aptitude with complex troubleshooting and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include installations, diagnostics, on-time maintenance, interpreting schematics, and maintaining equipment knowledge. Travel and after-hours coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years HVACR service experience
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred
• Industry certs desirable (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) and EPA Certification

Responsibilities

• Installs and services commercial food equipment on-site.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration systems.
• Interprets schematics and follows sequence of operations.
• Maintains safety standards and follows Hobart Service manuals.
• Supports new product introductions and leads when needed.
• Maintains company assets including vehicle, tools, and inventory.
