Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, including installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial food equipment. The role involves on-call and after-hours repair, with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, HVACR experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2–4 years HVACR service experience.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• Industry certification (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs and leads advanced HVACR and food equipment installations.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs equipment on contract or T&M basis.
• Interprets schematic diagrams and understands sequence of operations.
• Completes preventative maintenance and follows safety manuals.
• Promotes customer experience and generates leads.
• Travel and on-call responsibilities as required.
