Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC designs and services commercial food equipment across the U.S. This role focuses on on-site installation, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to support Hobart Service customers.

The technician will handle electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration systems with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, often working on-call and after hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with 4–7 years in food equipment service or 2–4 years HVACR service experience.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• Industry certification (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs and/or leads advanced installations of commercial food equipment.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs equipment per contract or T&M.
• Interprets schematics and follows operation sequences.
• Performs preventative maintenance and documents it.
• Supports safety procedures and company policies.
• Promotes customer experience and generates leads.
• Maintains knowledge of products and services.
• Manages assigned company assets and tools.
