Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician to support Hobart Service customers on-site by installing, servicing, and repairing commercial food equipment. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and perform preventative maintenance.

You may work on-call, after-hours, holidays, and weekends as needed. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of electrical/mechanical experience or HVACR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years electrical and mechanical experience, or HVACR experience with EPA certification, or HVACR vocational certificate.
• EPA certification is desirable for HVACR service.
• Associate’s degree or HVACR certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and assists in more advanced installs as needed.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs basic mechanical commercial food equipment for customers on contract or on T&M basis.
• Interprets and follows schematic diagrams.
• Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Follows Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
• Supports branch objectives by delivering quality customer experiences.
