Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage production lines in the Phoenix/Glendale area. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on running equipment and mentor maintenance teams on controls practices.

You will work a 2-2-3 day rotation, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, and contribute to automation-focused improvements across operations. This is a salaried, on-site role with relocation support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial automation on high-speed production lines.
• Hands-on PLC programming, not just troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Strong communication across plant departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for processing, filling, canning, conveying, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, motion-control, and industrial-network issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Maintain PLC/HMI backups, documentation, and change records.
