Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for its Glendale, AZ facility. You will provide on-site automation support for high‑speed beverage lines, writing ladder logic in Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 and debugging PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
This is a day-shift, 12‑hour rotation, with relocation assistance available. You will mentor technicians, collaborate with operations and maintenance, and lead improvements to safety, quality and throughput through automation
Qualifications
- Hands-on PLC programming, not just troubleshooting: write and modify ladder logic.
- 4+ years of industrial automation on high-speed production lines.
- Strong troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo/motion, and industrial networks.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Responsabilités
- Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert for processing, filling, canning, conveying, and packaging.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, motion-control, and network issues and restore production safely.
- Identify recurring problems and implement permanent corrective actions including PLC/HMI changes.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; support commissioning and system integration.
