Job summary

Pen Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new OEM logos within its contract manufacturing platform, focusing on sheet metal fabrication and welding. The role targets targeted industrial verticals and long-term OEM partnerships, with a revenue growth mandate at the core.

The ideal candidate has extensive contract manufacturing sales experience, excels at outbound prospecting, and can build executive level relationships with engineering, sourcing, and operations

Qualifications

• 7–15+ years in contract manufacturing sales.
• Direct experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
• Machining environments experience is a strong plus.
• Proven success acquiring and scaling OEM accounts.
• Comfortable building pipeline through outbound efforts.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials and constraints.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new OEM customers within targeted verticals.
• Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategy.
• Build executive level relationships with engineering, sourcing, and operations leaders.
• Manage full sales cycle from introduction through signed production agreement.
• Structure pricing aligned with margin objectives.
• Expand newly acquired accounts into multi program or multi site opportunities.
• Partner closely with engineering and operations to ensure manufacturability and delivery alignment.
