Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive catering and event sales in the New York market. The role requires building relationships with convention and corporate clients, developing targeted sales plans, and negotiating contracts for live events.

The position is based in venue environments with standard daytime hours, plus nights and weekends as needed. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include professional appearance, punctuality, strong communication, and sales experience.
• Working knowledge of local and regional markets, computers and guest relations.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• Experience in catering sales and events is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new and existing clients to meet and exceed budgeted sales expectations.
• Develop sales strategy for defined market segments and conventions.
• Build and maintain client databases and prospect through networks and associations.
• Prepare proposals, event contracts and post-event communications.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure guest satisfaction and event success.
