Job summary

Apploi in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an experienced Nursing Administrator to lead the Nursing Department, support the Director of Nursing, and ensure resident rights, high-quality care, and regulatory compliance in an interdisciplinary setting.

You will oversee staffing, policies, QA/PI activities, incident review, and collaboration with other departments to enhance care delivery while managing resources and maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission and state rules.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute administrative, nursing and resident/patient care policies.
• Ensure compliance with government and accrediting agency standards and regulations pertaining to Nursing.
• Direct systems and programs to meet regulatory standards.
• Assess, coordinate, plan and implement systems for high-quality care.
• Define and maintain standards of care; develop necessary policies and procedures.
• Oversee QA/PI programs and data collection for continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in committees and collaborate with other departments to meet residents' needs.
• Oversee staffing plans and ensure proper supplies for nursing tasks.
