Job summary

Ventura Services Florida is seeking a Nursing Administrator to lead the Nursing Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. The role requires oversight of staffing, policies, and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance outcomes and satisfaction within the facility.

The Administrator will ensure adherence to OBRA, Joint Commission, and state rules, with responsibilities spanning QA/PI initiatives, safety programs, and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Health Administration is preferred.
• Current registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state employed.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute administrative, nursing and resident/patient care policies.
• Ensure compliance with government and accrediting standards and regulations pertaining to Nursing.
• Direct systems and programs within the department to meet regulatory standards.
• Assess, plan and implement systems to deliver a high standard of care to patients/residents.
• Lead the Nursing Department and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Health Administration preferred

Current RN license in state employed

CPR/BLS certified
