Job summary

Palm Beach Health Partners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead Nursing Services. You will provide direct resident care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will coordinate with physicians and other departments, manage medication administration, and contribute to quality assurance and discharge planning. Strong documentation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or licensed practical/vocational nurse with the current state license.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• Excellent technical assessment and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities according to standards and regulations.
• Meet the required physical and sensory requirements to perform duties.
• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance care and workflow.
• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies.
• Coordinate with physicians, units, and other resident services as needed.
• Complete and file required forms/charts for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Chart nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident responses.
• Take part in discharge planning and quality assurance programs.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs; participate in rounds.
