Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a skilled team, write assessments, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You’ll manage records, qualification files, and ensure independence from the work audited, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or able to qualify within 90 days.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without explanation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end with a team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, and verify closure with evidence.
