Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under the nuclear QA framework written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will audit against a licensee's quality organization, maintain qualification files, and ensure independence from the work audited. Travel to project sites and supplier facilities is required.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days, documented training, and written exam.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audit experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA a plus; ability to write clear audit reports and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, objective evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions to closure.
