Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program under ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, and verify corrective actions to closure.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Perform surveillances and recommend supplier-list changes.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, and verify closure with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of our program.
