Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You’ll plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and supervise a team of auditors and specialists.

You will write reports, verify corrective actions to closure, and maintain qualification records while interacting with licensees and NRC-style reviews. Travel to project sites and facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspector could follow without a conversation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program and lead internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, checklist, entrance meeting, objective evidence, findings, exit meeting, report—and supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend changes to approved-supplier-list.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support related audits of our program.
