Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the reference against which a licensee's quality organization audits; independence and qualification records are central.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA is a plus.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors could follow without a conversation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, checklist, evidence collection, findings, exit meeting, and reporting.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support audits of our own program.
