Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program under ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and write comprehensive reports with your team.

You will verify corrective actions to closure and maintain qualification records while supporting NRC-style audits. The role demands 5+ years in nuclear QA and strong audit-reporting skills, with readiness to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualify within 90 days, with documented auditing training and a written examination per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services is preferred; ASQ CQA is a plus.
• Ability to write audit reports that NRC inspectors could follow and deliver findings to the responsible parties.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end-to-end, including notification, checklists, entrance and exit meetings, evidence collection, findings, and reporting.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions and closure with objective evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support other program audits as needed.
