Job summary

Sargent & Lundy's Nuclear Power Group is seeking engineers to design and modify nuclear power plant systems, producing drawings, analyses, and procurement documents while evaluating vendor bids. The role offers exposure to plant modifications and cost estimating for diverse client scopes.

The position requires 3 days per week in-office under a hybrid schedule, with opportunities to travel to client sites and lead project teams on challenging engineering tasks. A PE is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Involve in nuclear power plant systems design, including drawings, analyses, and specifications.
• Visit client office and/or plant sites to interface with the client and present engineering tasks.
• Lead engineering project teams and develop cost estimates for client scopes.
