Job summary

Sargent & Lundy's Nuclear Power Group is seeking a senior mechanical/chemical engineer to design and review nuclear power plant systems, including modifications, drawings, analyses, and procurement documents. You will lead project teams, develop cost estimates, and interface with clients at office or plant sites.

The role requires 7+ years in power and a ABET-accredited degree; PE is a plus and U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in the power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes and standards for mechanical engineering design of nuclear plants.
• PE license is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design or review nuclear power plant engineered systems and modification packages.
• Prepare functional drawings and procurement documents.
• Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations for plant modifications and operation.
• Lead engineering project teams and interface with clients.
