Zusammenfassung

Join Sargent & Lundy's Nuclear Power Group to design and review mechanical systems for nuclear plants. You will work on modification packages, drawings, analyses, specifications, and vendor bid evaluations, with opportunities to lead project teams and interface with clients on-site.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring in-office work three days per week, offering exposure to modern methods and a broad suite of nuclear engineering challenges in a collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Systems, or General Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design of power plants.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Modify packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Prepare or review functional mechanical drawings for plant systems.
• Perform engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment.
• Study options evaluations for modifications to operating plants.
• Develop engineering cost estimates for small to mid-sized client work scopes.
• Visit client office or plant sites to interface with the client and present engineering tasks/status.
• Lead engineering project teams.
