Job summary

Sargent & Lundy based in Peachtree Corners, GA, seeks a seasoned mechanical/nuclear engineer for a hybrid role. You will design and review nuclear power plant systems, modify operating plant packages, and prepare or oversee functional drawings, technical specifications, and procurement documents.

You will lead project teams, develop cost estimates for small to mid-sized scopes, and interface with clients on-site as needed.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited BS or MS in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Systems, or General Engineering.
7+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants.
Create or review functional mechanical drawings for nuclear plant systems.
Perform engineering analyses and evaluations for plant modifications and operation.
Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
Conduct vendor bid evaluations for plant equipment.
Perform studies and options evaluations for operating plant modifications.
