Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced electrical engineering leader to drive multi-discipline projects in nuclear power environments. You will guide a group, define deliverables, and coordinate the interface with clients and other engineering disciplines.

You will oversee scoping, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications, providing technical oversight of design change packages and equipment specifications. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree from ABET-accredited program.
• 10 years’ experience in design of electrical systems for nuclear power plants.
• 3 years leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project.

Responsibilities

• Lead group members to ensure successful completion of deliverables within technical, quality, financial, and project controls expectations.
• Define deliverables (calcs, specs, drawings, design changes) and review progress.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary interface and client liaison to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear plants.
• Provide technical oversight for design change packages and equipment procurement specs.
