Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design, analyze, and review electrical systems for nuclear power plants. You will participate in design change packages, perform power studies, and coordinate with vendors and clients in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has an ABET‑accredited degree and 7+ years in industrial electrical design, with strong communication and a meticulous work style. Occasional travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree from ABET‑accredited program.
• 7+ years in electrical design for industrial applications, power plants preferred.
• Strong communication and detail‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design change packages for plant equipment upgrades.
• Perform calculations: short circuit, cable ampacity, voltage drop, breaker coordination.
• Interface with mechanical, structural, I&C teams and clients; travel for reviews.
