Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert for a 100% on-site role at a DOE facility in Germantown, MD. Relocation support is provided; active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary ranges from $165,000 to $185,000 per year, with full benefits. The SME will review classification materials related to RD/FRD/NSI and nuclear weapon science, requiring at least five years of field or program office experience in weapons design,

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance or active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum five years of field or program office experience in one or more nuclear-related areas.
• Bachelor's degree in physical sciences or engineering; a Master's degree is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government materials under RD/FRD/NSI guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders and procedures.
• Support DOE Office of Classification requirements and related security activities.
