Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance framework. You will plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and supervise auditors and specialists to gather objective evidence.

You will write audit reports, verify corrective actions to closure, and maintain qualification records for ongoing NRC-style program audits. A strong background in NQA-1 and 10 CFR audits is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Qualified as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end with a team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, verify effectiveness, and close them with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of the program.
