Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and write audit reports with corrective actions to closure.

The role requires current or near-term qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, 5+ years in nuclear QA, and experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or qualifying within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain audit schedule for the nuclear QA program including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, meetings, evidence, findings, report.
• Evaluate suppliers for safety-related items and services; recommend approvals or removals.
• Write audit reports, verify corrective actions and closure with objective evidence.
• Maintain qualification records for lead auditors and auditors; support related audits.
